MHR offers interested physicians a one year training program in hair restoration surgery that follows the guidelines set by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, Fellowship Training Committee. The goal of the program is to prepare the physician to practice contemporary hair restoration surgery, and qualify for the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery Examinations. The fellowship program has four components:
• Weekly didactic lectures given by the faculty
• Monthly journal club with the entire MHR Staff
• Fellows must complete a research project
• Daily participation in hair restoration surgery procedure with a faculty mentor
The principal faculty includes Drs. Matt Leavitt, Melvin Mayer, and Robert Niedbalski. The combined experience of the faculty exceeds 80 years of hair restoration practice.
