Maitland, FL - Carlos J. Puig, D.O., associate medical director for nationally recognized Medical Hair Restoration, has been elected to serve a one-year term as president of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS).
The ABHRS is an organization created in 1996 to establish and maintain requirements in the surgical hair restoration industry by examining surgeon's skill, knowledge and aesthetic judgment in the field. Dr. Puig is a founding member who previously served as vice president and treasurer for the organization. As president, Dr. Puig will provide leadership to the 17-person board to insure the continued integrity of the certification process.

It is an honor for me to serve this organization and to continue the excellent leadership provided by past-presidents Robert Cattani, M.D. and Shelly Friedman, D.O." said Dr. Puig.
