"I had a tumor and I was told I wouldn't live the first year after my surgery. I had seven weeks of radiation and I didn't lose my hair for awhile. And then one day in the shower it just started falling out. They really got me with the radiation. And that made me lose the hair because the follicles were damaged and it didn't grow back.
I was pretty much shiny bald across the top and I've got lots of hair there now! And it's just amazing that it could happen. That they could take my own hair and transplant it. I got so excited when i got bangs. You just don't know. And I think it does help my self esteem to know that I'm getting my hair back."
